I ordered a jacket from here on Dec 13th. After 9 days of no shipping confirmation I emailed them to follow up. They responded they were still working on it. Now 2 days before Christmas they cancelled the order because its Out Of Stock.
In addition, I bought something else in November which came back out of stock. WHY ARE THEY PRETENDING TO SELL STUFF THEY DONT HAVE! AND WHY DOES IT TAKE 2 WEEKS TO RESPOND THAT IT'S OUT OF STOCK!
I will never shop at sporting life again. They are supposed to be selling high-end products and they offer the WORST customer service.
They do a lot of promos, some are great deals so I ordered. The merchandise arrives but it is clearly worn and put back on the shelf. When I returned the item and commented on this, the manager says that is the reason it is a great deal and that you get what you pay for. So rude and not what I expect from a store like Sporting Life. Don't bother with the promos. Actually, don't bother shopping there with that kind of service.

These guys are crooks. I ordered 3 items from Sportinglife. I received 2. My order still said pending and when I contacted them they told me my order had been shipped in full and they refused to refund or send the 3rd item. Their customer service is horrible. I will never buy from here again.
I have ordered 8 items online from Sporting Life over the past two months. I receive an email confirming my order and the next day or two I receive an order cancelled/out of stock email. What a major waste of time and effort. They have the worst inventory systems in Canada. Very frustrating. I don't have these issues with other online retailers. They are ruining what was once a stellar reputation. Maybe it's time to upgrade their sales/inventory systems to actually sell what's in stock vs. phantom items.
I purchased an item online and twice in a row the wrong color was sent .I let the first one slide but complained the second time. After my complaint was ignored with 2 unanswered emails to customer service , I opened a dispute claim with paypal and returned the item . It has been a month and no refund was issued . I will never purchase from them again or recommend anyone else to .Buyer beware!

My husband ordered me a Patagonia vest from Sporting Life on December 7, 2021, that was intended to be a Christmas present. It’s now January 7, 2021 and we have still not received the vest. My husband emailed them to follow up and to see where the order is a few days ago and we have not received a response at all. I am anticipating that it’s Canada Post that is the true issue, however the lack of response is still disappointing from a customer service perspective.
Worst company ever !! They sold me 4 times items that were out of stock after 4 days and refund me. No customer service at all, no refund policy. Only one order got me shipped after 2 weeks and it took nearly one month from the moment i have ordered. What a joke ? Seriously don't encourage this company as it should simply not exist.
Had a great experience with sporting life. Shipping from Toronto to Alberta. They got my order sent out fast. They were the only place I could find what I was looking for and on top of that I saved $100 with them
Sporting life made no effort to fulfill my order claiming a discrepancy without making an effort to resolve it, cancelling my order instead. I have always thought the store excessively expensive so adding a bad shopping experience is reinforcing my commitment to stay clear of the place. There are so many great alternatives that are eager to provide good service and grateful for the business.

Lied and cancelled my online order after 1 week due to “not having in stock”, even though you call and they say they have it.
No way to cancel online orders made.

Terrible experience. I can't believe how bad is their policy and service for a "leading" Canadian company that sells online.
the item I bought online don't fit, so I need to return. There's no more service on the phone, everything is by email. Customers have to PAY RETURNS shipping fee with TRACKING AND INSURANCE. Why sell online if there's such a bad return policy?
One of my order was cancelled more than 24 hours because out of stock, so the website is not updated.
And on top of that the price had go down 2 days later and they refuse to do a price adjustment.
Never had such a bad service when buying online. It's a shame
